Have you been meaning to get your beautiful family photographed for a while but just haven’t got around to it?
Are the kids growing up so quickly and you’re wandering where the time is going?
Would you love some beautiful natural photos of your children on your walls that you will treasure for a lifetime (and they will too).
We would love to help. There can be no better time than now to get your family portraits done. This is your family today and what can be more perfect?
Welsch Photography is a family business run by two adoring parents Karl and Bec. We specialise in stunning natural outdoor photography that captures the spirit and splendour of children and families. We also offer studio photos if that is your preference.
Family means so much to me. Watching our own family grow up through the photos we take brings so much pleasure to the four of us. When I used to visit my parents on the south coast, I would find a few hours to sit in front of the photo cupboard and go through photos of my parents, and grandparents, and relatives I hadn't even met. These were people, this was their life, these are the memories.
So it is with great pleasure that I have the opportunity to photograph other families and - even if just for an hour or so - get a glimpse into their world.
I'm Karl Welsch, family photographer and owner of Welsch Photography. I love a family session in the outdoors, where kiddies can let off some steam, connect with the environment, and be themselves.
I've got some favourite family portrait locations in the Inner West of Sydney that suit any type of family - those with toddlers, teens, grown up children - your family.
I look forward to meeting you.

The most important people in our lives…..our children; our family. But even more importantly, we are the most important people in our children’s lives.
Capturing these times in our lives can’t be taken for granted. What if there were nearly no beautifully printed photos of your family together? Mum and the kids, Dad and the boys.
What if there was no family photos that were beautifully printed and left for your children to look back and enjoy? We’re talking about images that capture the spirit of your family. Naturally. And printed beautifully. It doesn’t mean that your walls need to be covered in family photos, but just to have them.
For your children.
We photograph family portraits on weekdays and weekends (in between meetings, weddings and christenings).
During Daylight savings periods we can meet you after work on a weekday for a sunset session.
Sessions outside of the Inner West, or extended session attract an additional $150 booking fee.

People meet people. They fall in love and get married. They have lives together, careers, they have fur babies, they have human babies, and their families grow up. In the past 11 years, Bec and Karl have been photograping all these times in people's lives.
