We’ve been looking forward to photographing again at View By Sydney for some time. Situated right on the harbour with stunning views of the bridge and Luna Park, you really feel like you’re in the heart of Sydney.
It wasn’t just the reception though that marked Danielle and Shaun’s wedding as a stunning Sydney Wedding – the church service in Hunters Hill, then the photoshoot at Observatory Hill and under the Harbour Bridge really made it so.
Danielle and Shaun’s bridal party knew how to have a good time, and from the preparations to the ceremony, through the photoshoot and to the reception they kept the mood up and lively.
Danielle organised the run sheet for the evening to have all the speeches together to maximise their party time. Danielle’s sister gave one of the funniest and heartfelt speeches we’ve heard for a while, and it was lovely to see that bond between sisters.
Shaun nailed his speech, telling the story of how they met and eventually became engaged. In his own words: We have been together for six years. We met at the Hillside Tavern in Castle Hill (our local pub) and hit it off from the get go. We went on a holiday to Fiji in July 2015. It was here that Shaun flew Danielle (in a helicopter) to a private island for the day. He went to get “drinks” but really had gone to write ‘Will you marry me?’ in the sand. It was a holiday we will remember forever.
Thanks Danielle and Shaun for letting us capture your special day.
